Dräger Receives Prestigious 2011 AARC Zenith Award for Third Consecutive Year
Telford, PA – Dräger was recently named one of five companies out of a field of 400 to receive the Zenith Award from the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC). The award, which is given to companies that provide outstanding products and services to the respiratory care profession, was presented during the AARC’s 57th International Respiratory Congress in Tampa in November 2011.
The American Association for Respiratory Care is an association of 52,000 respiratory therapists and other clinicians that focuses on respiratory therapy education and research. AARC presents its Zenith Award to companies based on quality of equipment and/or supplies, accessibility and helpfulness of sales personnel, responsiveness, truth in advertising, and support of the respiratory care profession.
“We are honored to receive this award and humbled by AARC’s recognition of Dräger’s commitment to the Respiratory Care profession,” says Arno Wolters, President and CEO, Draeger Medical, Inc. “We are proud to work with the AARC because the members make a difference every day in the lives of their patients. We look forward to continuing to earn the members’ trust each year through innovation, product quality, and best-in-class service.”
Dräger’s Respiratory Care devices span the market portfolio of critical care, neonatal care, acute care, noninvasive, and emergency/transport ventilation.
“We congratulate the Dräger team on this achievement,” says AARC Executive Director/CEO Sam Giordano. “Our members have spoken and recognize the quality of Dräger’s products and service.”
The award was announced during the 2011 International Respiratory Congress in Tampa. The Congress (AARC Convention) is the largest and most comprehensive respiratory care meeting in the world.
